Bass Structure Bass tend to gravitate in sunken land areas, gravel reef, rock reef, breaks in shorelines, and creek channels. In addition, bass swim in shallow flats, ridges, saddles, bends, deep holes, cliff walls, etc. Largemouth bass tend to gravitate toward areas in which they recognize familiar structure.
